T. Boone Pickens’s $165-million donation to Oklahoma State University at Stillwater for athletics facilities—the largest gift ever made to a college athletics program—has drawn some local opposition, but now just a single homeowner who refuses to sell out is blocking construction of the vast athletics complex that is to be built with the money, the Associated Press reports. The holdout, who has been offered a premium price for his property, says the university has no right to it.
