Local Minister Seeks to Petition His Way Onto Yale's Board
The Rev. W. David Lee, a New Haven, Conn., minister and Yale Divinity School graduate, may become the second person ever to petition his way into a seat on Yale University's high-powered governing board.
Mr. Lee, 36, didn't think he'd get a chance to serve as an alumni fellow of the Yale Corporation any other way.
The pastor of New Haven's oldest African-American congregation, Mr. Lee said that at least one member of the board should represent the interests of city residents.
