Lobbyists for Education Financing Proclaim 'National Contact Washington Day'

Lobbyist Watch:

"Be Smart -- Invest in Education!"

That's the message with which the Committee for Education Funding hopes to barrage the White House and Capitol Hill on Friday, September 10, the day the group has proclaimed "National Contact Washington Day."

The organization is asking its 90-plus members to mobilize their allies to phone, fax, or e-mail the Clinton Administration and Congress to urge them to make increased spending on education
