Lobbying Firm Finds Nevada Community College Too Hot to Handle

Lobbyist Watch:

Former U.S. Sen. Paul Laxalt's lobbying firm has dropped the Community College of Southern Nevada from its client list, even before doing any work for the two-year institution.

Richard Moore, the college's former president, inked a $10,000-a-month deal with the Paul Laxalt Group last fall, just weeks before he was named to head the proposed Nevada State College at Henderson.

Southern Nevada had hired Mr. Laxalt's group to help it
