Loan Burdens Will Ease for Students at Williams College and Wesleyan U.
Two of the most exclusive liberal-arts colleges in New England announced plans on Thursday that will reduce the debt burdens for their students. Williams College, in western Massachusetts, will replace loans with grants for all students, and Wesleyan University, in Middletown, Conn., has eliminated loans for low-income students.
