Life University and Its President

To the Editor:

In the interest of accuracy and fairness, qualities that I have always associated with The Chronicle, I am compelled to correct some distortions and inaccuracies that appeared in "At Life U., an Omnipresent President Pushes the Institution and Its Specialty" (October 8), by Welch Suggs. The picture that results from such inaccuracies does harm to Sidney E. Williams, his colleagues at Life University, and the university itself.
