Library Collections at Georgetown U.
To the Editor:
In the January 28 article "Georgetown's Growing Pains: Eager Applicants, Troubled Finances," the statement was made that "librarians, short of money and space, send students cross-town, to the Library of Congress, to do research." I would like to disabuse readers of the article -- and of course, prospective students and faculty and staff members -- of this notion, which reflects a Georgetown of the past, rather than the reality of
