Libraries Must Showcase Their Many Resources, Study Suggests
A report from a major library organization suggests that libraries need a makeover. Or, at the very least, they need a new marketing plan.
The report, "Perceptions of Libraries and Information Resources," surveyed library patrons from the United States, Canada, England, and Australia on a wide variety of topics — their views of libraries and staff members, their experiences with library services, and their habits at libraries. The study was conducted by the OCLC Online
