Liberalism Among Academics Is No Surprise
To the Editor:
Robin Wilson's "Report Assails Professors' Liberalism" (The Chronicle, November 3) discusses a new report that insists a substantial majority of college professors are "liberal." ...
But if liberal bias is so rampant, how is it possible that the increasingly college-educated American electorate could have voted for an archconservative president for the past two elections and granted control of one or both houses of Congress to Republicans for 12 years in a row?
