Richard H. Hersh and Richard P. Keeling's article responding to the recent statement from the National Association of Scholars ("Call for Renewal of Liberal Education Is Only Partly Right," The Chronicle, August 1) is a welcome corrective to the laughably out-of-touch and inaccurate portrayal of campus life the association presents.
