Lehman Bros. Settles U. of California Suit
Lehman Brothers, the financial-services company, announced last month that it would pay $222.5-million to the University of California and other investors to settle its liability in a class-action lawsuit. The Wall Street firm is one of several financial companies accused by the investors of contributing to the Enron scandal, which resulted in billions of dollars of investment losses.
