Legal Educators Rethink How Lawyers Are Trained
Years of frustration over a system of legal education that has changed little in more than a century is boiling over in a series of meetings designed to shake up the profession.
Fifty-seven legal educators, including deans, professors, and program administrators, brainstormed in November at the University of South Carolina School of Law. In December, Stanford Law School held a gathering of deans from 10 law schools that are revamping their programs.
