Left in the Dark
The stereotype of today's parents prepping their preschoolers for college may hold true for some wealthy families. But many low-income and first-generation students don't begin thinking seriously about college until it's almost too late.
Those students often wait until their junior or even senior years of high school to plan for college, according to a new report from the National Center for Education Statistics.
To remedy that, the report recommends that colleges more clearly
