Lebanese Universities to Resume Classes
Three days after a United Nations-brokered cease-fire ended the monthlong conflict between Israel and the Lebanon-based militia Hezbollah, several Lebanese universities announced that they would soon resume classes.
It is a bold move on the part of the universities, since many of their foreign professors and students fled with the advent of fighting in July. None of the campuses suffered significant damage, but they all face the possibility of fuel and water shortages as the Israeli
