Learning the Ropes
College is a time for new experiences. And student organizations at Iowa State University and the University of Victoria, in Canada, aren't restraining their members -- not figuratively, at least.
Last week the University of Victoria Pride Collective, a queer-advocacy group, held "Bondage 101," a workshop organized to "teach people how to use ropes in a sexual context," according to Michael Joyce, the club's chair and a student at the university.
