Leading Translation Publisher Is Moving to Rochester; 'The Southern Quarterly' Publishes Katrina Anniversary Issue
FOUND IN TRANSLATION: The Dalkey Archive Press, a leading independent publisher of world literature and literature in translation, will have new digs at the University of Rochester beginning in January 2007. Founded in 1984, the press has been somewhat uncomfortably housed at Illinois State University, in Normal, since 1992. "It's much more of a regional school with regional interests," says John O'Brien, Dalkey Archive's founder and director. "We kind of outgrew it."
