Leader Retires Amid  Harassment Charges
The president of Johnson County Community College has stepped down amid allegations that he sexually harassed a college employee.
Charles J. Carlsen announced in April that he would voluntarily retire from the institution in Overland Park, Kan., where he had been president for the past 25 years.
Mr. Carlsen came under fire in April after the student newspaper, The Campus Ledger, reported allegations that he had sexually harassed a staff member in 2003.
