Lawsuit Challenges Bush Executive Order on Presidential Records

A consumer-advocacy group and a coalition of scholars and academic associations filed a federal lawsuit last week challenging an executive order by President Bush that could block the release of the records of past presidents. The groups argue that the order is an unconstitutional attempt to keep the records out of public view.
