Lawmakers Will Seek a Federal Study of Campus Policies on File Swapping
Two influential members of Congress will ask the Government Accountability Office to study colleges' antipiracy practices and report on how successful they are, the representatives said last month at a hearing about students' file-sharing habits. The announcement was the strongest of several clear signals sent to colleges at the hearing.
