Lawmakers Laud Colleges for Efforts to Curb Illegal File Sharing
Members of Congress praised colleges last week for taking steps to curtail illegal downloading on their campuses, and also endorsed two approaches that institutions have used: giving students access to commercial music libraries and cutting suspected song swappers off from their campus networks.
