Lawmakers Intervene in Labor Dispute
In an unusual instance of lawmakers' attempting to intervene in a private university's labor dispute, 20 Democrats in Congress have signed a letter to the president of Georgetown University, urging him to recognize a request for union representation by subcontracted janitorial workers.
