Lack of Diversity Among Football Coaches Reflects Broader Problem, Study Finds
The lack of diversity among head football coaches in Division I-A may stem from the lack of minority representation among campus leaders and sports-conference commissioners, findings released last week suggest.
The findings are the result of a study led by Richard E. Lapchick, director of the program in sports-business management at the University of Central Florida and a vice president of the Black Coaches Association.
