LSU System President to Step Down; Chancellor's Search at Arkansas State U. Irks Some Professors; Notre Dame Selects a New Spokesman
STORM-DAMAGED? The president of the Louisiana State University System plans to step down this summer to devote more time to hurricane recovery and fund raising, but the capital is abuzz with rumors that he was forced out because of his opposition to the immediate closure and consolidation of campuses in the system.
