Kuhn to Publish New Book on Scientific Revolutions
A little over 30 years ago, Thomas S. Kuhn created a large stir with a small book called The Structure of Scientific Revolutions.
Published by the University of Chicago Press in the fall of 1962, the book laid out Mr. Kuhn's argument that science progressed by way of "paradigm shifts," or changes in the intellectual consensus in a field. The slim volume became an intellectual landmark: It has sold 750,000 copies to date and has been cited in countless scholarly publications,
