Knight Foundation Announces New President
The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation's Board of Trustees has selected Alberto Ibargüen, a career newspaper executive, to succeed Hodding Carter III as president of the foundation. Mr. Carter had previously announced plans to step down this year.
Mr. Ibargüen is publisher and chairman of The Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald. A trustee of the University of Miami, Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, Mr.
