Knight Commission's Game Plan Still Open to Ideas

A parade of athletes, athletics directors, conference commissioners, and representatives of professional leagues presented the Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics with a dizzying array of challenges, complaints, and suggestions last week during the reconstituted commission's third meeting.

This was supposed to be the panel's final session before issuing its report and proposals. But the group's members decided to schedule at least one more meeting, to be held here on January
