Killing Animals Is Bad Education
To the Editor:
Katherine S. Mangan's article "Can Vet Schools Teach Without Killing Animals?" (February 4) gave an insightful look into the killing of perfectly healthy animals to teach veterinary medicine.
In the article, Morgan Lee Wilson, a student and an advocate of the terminal-surgery labs, says, "People here are focused on the plight of the animals in the lab, but they seem to have forgotten about the plight of the animals we'll be taking care
