Key Research Official to Leave Energy Dept.
Martha Krebs, the longest-serving director of the Department of Energy's Office of Science, announced last month that she would resign, effective in early December. She is the first woman to hold the position and one of a handful of women who hold important scientific positions in the Clinton Administration.
