Key Panel Approves Governance Overhaul for Florida's Universities
The dismantling of Florida's State University System became a near-certainty last week, as a committee charged with overseeing the reorganization of education governance in the state adopted a plan that would create a separate board of trustees for each public university.
The reorganization plan envisions significant changes in all sectors of education, which it would place under the control of a new "superboard," appointed by the governor, for the sake of creating a seamless system
