Key Congressman Endorses Renewal of Patriot Act's Power Over Library Records
A key member of Congress said last month that he supported renewing a provision of the USA Patriot Act of 2001 that would allow law-enforcement officials to demand the records of library patrons at colleges and elsewhere.
