Kenyan Med Schools Face Cadaver Shortage
Medical schools in Kenya's public universities are facing a shortage of cadavers as a result of cultural inhibitions and Kenyans' love for elaborate funeral ceremonies.
The problem is so acute that academics at the University of Nairobi and Moi University are appealing to the public to consider donating their bodies for research.
"A dead body can only be useful if used to increase knowledge for the living, but a waste when buried and turned over to termites," said Julius
