Kentucky Uncovers 45 Rules Violations by Its Football Team
The University of Kentucky announced this month that it had uncovered 45 violations of National Collegiate Athletic Association rules by its football team.
Investigators from the university and the Southeastern Conference found that over the past three years the football team's recruiting coordinator, Claude Bassett, wrote a paper for a player; forged memos from a medical-school dean and a separate department head promising admission to prospective players;
