Kelsey-Jenney College Shuts Its Doors
Kelsey-Jenney College, a private two-year institution in San Diego, has closed after filing for bankruptcy. It was immediately stripped of its accreditation.
The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges had placed Kelsey-Jenney on probation in March, asking the college to create a plan for "financial emergencies" and to revamp the way the college dealt with its governing board.
