Keeping Costs Down Will Grow Ever More Difficult, Report Says
Clearly separating the programs that universities offer is one way to help reduce costs and make them easier to track, says a report released today by the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges.
An urban-studies department that is spun off to a satellite campus, for example, could be more efficient than running it as part of the university's central operation, the report says.
