Justice O'Connor's Retirement May Change Court's Approach to Higher Education

The impending retirement of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who was widely viewed as a voice of moderation and pragmatism on the U.S. Supreme Court, has left many experts on higher-education law uncertain what direction the court will take in cases important to colleges.
