'Juilliard Jazz Studies' Is the School's First Formal Curriculum in the Field
In the past, jazz musicians who wanted to be trained at the Juilliard School could study only classical music there, with jazz as a side interest. Now, for the first time, the school known for training some of the world's best-known classical and jazz musicians plans to offer a formal curriculum in jazz studies.
