Judge Strikes Down College's Preferential Contracting Plan and Holds Trustees Liable

A federal judge last month struck down an Ohio college's affirmative-action contracting policy as unconstitutional, and ruled that the institution's leaders were personally liable for damages because they knew that the policy was probably unconstitutional when they approved it.
