Judge Rules on Fees at SUNY-Albany

The student government at the State University of New York at Albany must partly refund the mandatory activity fees of two students who opposed the use of their money to finance an organization they deemed too politically liberal, a federal judge ruled this month.

In his ruling, the judge also struck down the student government's use of referenda to determine which campus groups it would support with student fees.
