Judge Rules for Expelled Student Who Sued a Fellow Student Over Plagiarism
A state judge in Connecticut has ruled that a student who was expelled from Central Connecticut State University for plagiarism was actually the victim of the offense.
Judge Jane S. Scholl's ruling, in a lawsuit brought by the student, was issued late Wednesday and came after a four-day, nonjury trial last month that essentially expanded upon a judicial hearing the university held in 2006.
