Judge Issues Mixed Rulings in Lawsuit vs. Princeton
Family and university claim victories in dispute over donors' intent
A New Jersey Superior Court judge released seven decisions in a case involving Princeton University and a major donor last week, clearing the way for a trial in a closely watched lawsuit that could have serious implications for issues of donor intent and for philanthropic management in higher education and nonprofit organizations.
