Judge Dismisses Charges by Coaches Against NCAA
If you roam the sidelines in a college sports arena, consider yourself in the public eye.
In a July decision that could affect college coaches nationwide, a judge in Alabama threw out all remaining charges in a defamation lawsuit against the National Collegiate Athletic Association on the grounds that both plaintiffs, who are former football coaches at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, are public figures.
