Johns Hopkins Bids to Intervene in Animal-Rights Lawsuit

The Johns Hopkins University moved last month to intervene in a federal lawsuit by animal-rights activists against the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The university wants to block the agency from settling the case by greatly expanding federal regulation.
