John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation
The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation has awarded fellowships worth a total of $6.3-million to 182 artists, scholars, and scientists. The fellows were chosen from among more than 2,900 applicants, "on the basis of distinguished achievement in the past and exceptional promise for future accomplishment."
