John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation
The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation has awarded fellowships worth a total of $6.1-million to 179 artists, scholars, and scientists. The fellows were chosen from nearly 2,800 applicants, "on the basis of distinguished achievement in the past and exceptional promise for future accomplishment."
