Job Market for Liberal-Arts Graduates Appears Strong
College seniors who are anxious about finding a job after graduation can breathe easy.
The labor market for the Class of 2001, which could be the best liberal-arts graduates have seen in years, will expand by an average of 6 to 10 percent during the 2000-1 academic year and as much as 25 percent in some sectors, according to an annual survey of 380 employers.
"The college labor market is entering its fourth year of frenzied activity," says Philip D.
