Jefferson Lecture Features Attack on Bush and Gore
The playwright Arthur Miller used the 30th annual Jefferson Lecture in the Humanities last week to deliver a stinging attack on President Bush, Al Gore, the Supreme Court, and the reporters who covered last year's presidential election.
Mr. Miller, author of Death of a Salesman and The Crucible, delivered the speech to a capacity crowd in the Concert Hall of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
