It's a Holy World After All
The Holy Land Experience, a $16.5-million theme park, opened last month in Orlando. Founded by a Jewish convert to Christianity, the park purports to be a history of Israel from 1450 B.C. to A.D. 66. The Holy Land Experience has angered some Jewish leaders, who argue that the park distorts Jewish history and is an attempt to convert Jews. We asked three scholars to deconstruct the park's message.
