It's Not True That Residence Halls 'Bring Nothing but Trouble'
To the Editor:
I write in response to Robert E. Ritschel ("Dormitories Bring Nothing but Trouble," The Chronicle, March 27) and his assertion that residence halls have no place on a community-college campus. While President Ritschel is correct that there are campuses whose mission would not be supported by residence halls, it is unfair and totally unsubstantiated to say these halls "bring nothing but trouble."
