It's Not Too Late to Teach College Students About Values
Although character education is arguably the fastest-growing movement in elementary and secondary education, many college and university educators seem to resist applying the same concept at their own institutions. Almost weekly, someone in higher education asks me -- a senior program officer at a foundation that supports character-development programs at all levels of education -- the same pointed question: What do I mean by the term "character"?
