Israel Puts Branch Campus of British University on Probation
The top higher-education agency in Israel has ordered the largest branch of a foreign university operating in the country not to accept any students after the fall semester, pending a review of unspecified irregularities in its operation.
The Israeli branch of the University of Derby, a British institution, enrolls some 6,000 students on 12 campuses in Israel. Most of those students are Israeli-government employees pursuing master's degrees to qualify for
